Due to pressure and lobbying from the big three mobile companies who felt threatened, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (the Canadian government’s regulatory body) limited Sugar Mobile’s growth potential restricting where subscribers can live, leaving the rest of Canadians with the same limited options and high mobile prices they’ve had for years.
